Sign Jason Collins

I really can't imagine Jason Collins playing for the Jazz team at all. I am not living in Utah but I can imagine him having problems in living there. From the previous posts in this thread, I can imagine that he would have problems with Jazz fans as well.

But one of the bigger problems would be in Jazz team itself; I can't see Collins playing with macho mucho players like Al Jefferson, Enes Kanter, Favors and the co. This really wouldn't fit for both sides. He'd better consider more liberal teams like L.A. Lakers, Boston Celtics or perhaps S.A. Spurs? I think staying with his team would be another good option for him...

I have seen in cnn that Karl Malone supporting Collins for coming out. Now that I read Malone was having problems with gay NBA players, was he making this to be publicly relevant?

I don't agree with the previous comments of this thread on the career of Jason Collins. From what I read, he's played in playoffs 9 times in his career, which is very good. Even though he was not a key player, he must be good enough to manage to play with those teams. I don't have statistics but I don't know any current player in Jazz who has similar records, including their "veteran" star players Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap, Mo Williams and others.

Maybe just stop at 14 posts bro.

Holy ****.

Yes, actually this may be a good suggestion for me. I grew up with some good entertaining memories of Karl Malone and Jazz but I guess I'd better I should just live with my childhood memories. I am obviously having problems with the fanbase of jazz (you can check my previous 13 posts as well), and I don't feel like I would like to support a team of this kind. Additionally, I don't enjoy watching Jazz for the past 8-10 years and I don't like the current Utah Jazz team at all.

So, I don't think I will never write to jazzfans post again. Bye bye...

Announcing the 2013-14 starting roster for the Utah Jazz, comprised of guys who all have won a championship, which is more than any other current jazz player has done:
PG: Norris Cole
C: Joel Anthony
PF: Mickell Gladness
SF: James Jones
SG: Terrell Harris

Ok, I admit, I just took 5 guys off last year's Heat roster. But I could have done the same looking at the Spurs, Lakers or any other recent champion. Do you think those 5 won a championship because they were better than anyone we have on the Jazz, or could it be they got just a little bit of help from some guy named LeBron and his posse of Wade, Bosh, Chalmers, etc.?

Fact is, Jason's big contract was one of the biggest mistakes in NJ history. And the playoff appearances? Well, NJ had a couple of dudes named Jason Kidd and Vince Carter. By 2007, Jason was 3rd string behind Kristic and Sean Williams.

But remember we signed that guy Francisco Elson. He was good enough to win a championship with the spurs. He should be starting now in front of favors and kanter.

Exactly. Maybe we should have the mods restrict new posters for their first 20 posts, or until they've proven their IQ is above that of an oyster.

In other words, the mods would have discovered this alt in the next day or so, anyway.

Oh yes, you can add the other players when Jordan and Pippen were playing in Chicago Bulls and make a similar argument. It will not change the fact that Jazz is full of players like Jefferson or Millsap, Williams, Hayward etc who does not match to any of the playoff calibre teams.

Actually, I can't see your point on Jason Collins anyway; if he had a big contract, this wouldn't make him a Michael Jordan. Correct me if I'm wrong but Krilenko had a huge contract with Jazz as well but it didn't make him a star player at all. The possibility was that he must show some skills so that they offered this contract, what's wrong with it? Do you think that you know these stuff better than the NBA managers?

Well, as I posted before, I have seen enough of the kind of jazz fans and team and my good impression about Jazz has already disappeared. You can include Malone himself as well since I have seen a bit of his real personality these days. What a disappointment.

I wish you good luck for the following years as you will obviously need a lot of it...

I would like to finish this post with what Kobe Bryant said after beating Jazz this season but well, I would prefer to be kind at this stage.

Bye bye, hope never to meet again...

And yet you keep responding after saying you're leaving. You just can't quit us!

Your baseless arguments about Jason Collins and Jazz team made me post the other comment. I can see that you have over 7000 posts or something; I would recommend to you to decrease your posts, and try to make them more valuable to the readers. I think having 100 posts with good points would be better than having 7000 posts most of which would be junk.

Let me repeat, your hollow arguments will not change the fact that Jason Collins had a reasonably good career and that in a team like L.A. Lakers where he would be comfortable, he would play to his full potential.

Your arguments will not change the fact that he has better experience than most of the players in current Jazz team and that coming to Jazz team will not be a good idea for him.

Since you insist, I will just quote Kobe Bryant after beating the Jazz this season: "We finally beat a team that isn't worth a sh**". I guess this pretty much summarizes the Jazz team and the players like Jefferson, Kanter and co this season.

This is getting too boring for me and I will not reply to you again no matter what you write anyway. I made my decision for not getting involved with people of your kind and a Jazz organization of this kind; I wish you good luck again...

I am writing from Canada, but I was not born in Canada. I came here when I was 24 years old I believe.

I am not sure why you asked me this question, as you will not find me in this community again. I wish you good luck for the next seasons as well. Bye bye...

Do you like Canada? How long have you been there?

You talk like English is your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th language.

It's his 4th, he learned it when he was 25, he believes. Can't be too sure though, it could have been when when he 14. Nobody knows. One thing is for sure though, he could comment like 40 more times on this thread, or he could be leaving for good, no longer to be found in this community.

Could be French-canadian. Give the guy a break; it's likely he's been checked hard into the boards one too may times.

To suggest a guy who has averaged 20 mins/per game in his career and only put up 3.6 pts on 41% has had a decent career has to have brain damage. 4!% for a CENTER? I'm not sure what this guy was even doing in the NBA. It wasn't like he was a monster rebounder (3.8/per) or shot blocker (0.5). He showed some promise his 4th season in the league, averaging 6/6. That was his career best. I'd rather have Jarron Collins. Seriously.

....could be that, or permafrost of the brain from all those winters he's spend up there! I got a touch of it myself from 18 years in Chicago!
