Sign the Fire Ty Petition

Can't go with the heads explode part but definitely have your back on the "whinycomplainer" part. Sloan was always thrown under the bus on this board and now Ty. While Ty clearly has some learning to do, many of the things people complain about are a huge stretch just looking for something and even making things up to complain about.

You've got to be kidding. How about listing some of the huge stretches, as in one thread people came up with about 20 specific complaints about Corbin.

Whiny? You're clueless Spazz.

I see the Cavs fired Byron Scott, who is a great coach, at least what I have seen of his teams. And yet we keep an incompetent like Corbin.

Don't hope for idiocy and mayhem and then tell others to "Get a grip, seriously".. . . . . . lol

I person that gleefully uses spite as a primary reason for anything is definitely a person that has a grip.

@eenie - I like more stability, and comparing the Cavs to the Jazz is apples to oranges at this point. I think this fascination with instant gratification gets us nowhere in the long run.

@babe - must have missed the sarcasm in the post. Of course the first part was grossly exaggerated. Nothing wrong with a few more years to see what Corbin can do, 15 years was excessive especially when we don't know how things will go. I really don't think there are any difference making coaches out there anyway and that people are taking a "grass is always greener" approach to their hatred of Corbin.

@numberica - I person that complains about all wouldn't know a "grip" from a hole in the head.

Well we could always offer Kirilenko a head coaching position.
At least at that point, he'd no longer need to worry about sitting out 15 games a year for the T-Wolves due to back spasms.

The Jazz approach of going against the grain for the sake of being different (I.E. "it's not the coaches fault") is particularly annoying in this instance.

Everyone else can see what a bad coach he is, but the Jazz are so foolishly stubborn that they will waste yet another season under this moron.

Just like how everyone told them that this half a** rebuild, this rebuild while staying competitive, was not going to work and was foolish, sticking with a bad coach to be different is moronic.

I expect that I will always follow the Jazz but I was very apathetic this season and I expect that the Jazz will make stupid moves this offseason to force that to continue next year. It looks like it starts with staying with an obviously inept coach. Next it will be signing vets that will play in front of our young guys ( you know Ty the idiot will do this no matter how bad they are) which will probably include Al.

Until they fix this team by getting a new coach and start doing things that make sense, instead of doing things to say "hey we are different, look at us!" I won't be following it all as closely. It's just too frustrating. Ill keep tabs of course, but not like the other 20+ years I've followed this team.

What's AK have to do with the ineptitude of Corbin. AK's greatest weakness was obviously being injury prone as you correctly pointed out, but for the most part you can't question his effort like some of the guys we have on our team now.

For one thing: I would love a list of supposed coach candidates that would be miles ahead of Corbin.
For the next: I don't blame players that get injured on the court, as it was a joke.
AK's effort though.... was at times equal to Millsap in the last half of this year.

Ty yr 1-Lost all star point gaurd, replaced hall of fame coach, only had half a season, blah blah blah blah

TY yr 2- Lockout season, short season, no training camp blah blah blah

Ty yr 3- 9 expiring contracts, mixing vets with trying to develop of youth blah blah blah

Ty yr 4- Youth movement, can't possibly have success with all these young guys blah blah blah

This is the front offices bull s*** excuses of Ty being a horrible coach. Each year, another excuse. The guy has had enough excuses over the last 3 years, it's time to hold the guy accountable. This year there should be no excuses, with all the vets and expiring contracts should of been a advantage with them trying to ball out to get their next contact. No way that should be looked at as a obstacle. Tired of all the excuses.

Year 1 was actually a third of a season
Year 2 - The Jazz made the playoffs in spite of the things you mentioned, even though they weren't expected to.
Year 3 - Disappointing for sure, but but pending free agents wanting to ball out doesn't mean they do it in a way that helps the team win games.

The Jazz will give him another year since they foolishly picked up his option early. Maybe he'll surprise us next year. Being hopeful is better than whining all the time.

"Contract year" is supposed to be when players play out of their minds, not play worse.

Being realistic is better then foolishly thinking Ty is a legit nba coach. Quietly sitting by and not pointing out his deficiencies is worse than not voicing the reality of Corbins horrible coaching. If you don't want to see people "whining" about Corbin you might not want to open and reply to a thread with the label "fire Ty."
