Signing neg rep

I sign all my neg reps. I just sign them all, to make things easy. LG98

And I agree with your assessment. I think they should come with the standard sig like other posts on the board. What in the world is someone afraid of signing a neg rep? Is this jr. high?

Well, nevermind....often it is worse than jr. high. What was I thinking?
 
I sign them, but there is a legitimate concern that it just turns into the neg-repped party responding in kind simply for the sake of revenge. I don't think that's what that function is there for, but whatever.
 
I've had some neg-rep that I wish was signed just so I could ask them what the **** they were thinking.

Word. I got an unsigned neg rep one time because in a rant against David Locke, I said he's probably still the most knowledgeable local media guy when it comes to the league and the rep essentially said "Lock is the stupidest stupid."
 
Stupid seems to be the word of choice in unsigned neg reps. Most of mine are things like "that was stupid", "stupidest comment ever", "your stupid". At least the cowards could get original.
 
In the last two weeks I have received a lot of neg rep. None of them signed. They were hurtful at the time...considering.
 
Or people who go out of their way to neg rep someone from a post made months ago. AKA Losers like Sirlittlemansyndromekickynoone'sass.

That rep was left by GoJazz. So when he starts a thread titled "signing neg rep" I guess he didn't mean "with your own name."

Takes a real strong and brave person to sign a neg rep given - with someone else's name.
 
I recently got an unsigned neg rep on a post I made over six months ago. There ought to be a time limit!

On the subject of unsigned neg rep.... I agree that it is brave to sign it but disagree that it is cowardly not to. :) Every once in a while there is a post that you just have to assign neg rep to. It's such a lousy post. But at the same time you know that if you sign that neg rep the person will get some fantastical idea in their mind that they have to get their revenge, so they will start childishly hounding you all over the board.*

I sign neg rep less and less because I'm tired of some the bug**** crazies on this board knowing my name. :)
