Singles Club

You guys that think you should never get married... and just travel the world and ****..
Just consider this. (Listen to the ****ing song.)

Haha.. I clicked on the link and was listening to this at the kitchen table, my brother walked by and was like "have you got a mental issue or something"?

Cool song though, I liked it.. LOL

What are some club activities? Do we rate each other's Tinder profiles or smth?

Anything goes man, whatever tickle your fancy!!!

I think it'll just be a cool place to hang out, share stories, give encouragements, etc,,.. but yeah whatever feels right really.

I've been single for several years after 19 years of marriage. I've dated some awesome women since my divorce, but the freedom of being single has been such a nice change that I'd have to find myself in a pretty incredible relationship to decide to make a long-term commitment again. It could happen, but I'm in no hurry to complicate my life.

For me it was more of a soul searching journey I've been on that sorta spurred this on...

Backing up a little, I've always been those kind of people who just flat out don't like to do things by myself... I'd rather just buy stuff and go home at eat it than just sit in the restaurant or the foodcourt and eat it by myself. I would NEVER go watch a movie by myself for example.. totally out of the question.. LOL.. Hence all my life I've always been searching for love.

So after the bad experience I had a couple of months ago on my trip to Bangkok with unreliable girls, materialistic girls..etc.. I've decided within myself, enough is enough, why not try to be by myself - is it really that hard? Then I realized something - unless somebody else is there pointing out that you're 'alone' - you won't feel 'lonely'. Once I've realized this, I felt really liberated and I was on the path to actually enjoying being by myself, doing stuff by myself, doing things I enjoy without having to worry about what other people think, etc.

I am happy to say that I now feel a lot more 'freedom' within myself, not having to rely on someone else to make me feel content or happy. I choose to have inner peace rather than relying on someone else.

My rules for Singles Club would exclude married people who want to convince single people that they are living their lives wrong. As if we don't already get enough of that in society already. Let us have our safe place, please.

Nope, I'm not at all touchy about this.

I learned long ago that I was giving up on a lot of fun things if I always waited until I had someone else to go. I have now discovered the joys of vacationing alone, and attending concerts, theater, movies, museums, restaurants alone. I always meet people I would not have talked to if I had been with others, and I have had some great experiences. It's great to do things with friends and dates, but there are a lot of benefits of going alone as well.

Thanks Joe, welcome to the club :) I'm actually surprised how many single people there are on Jazzfanz, this is cool!!

I think I'm kinda in the same boat... if I meet somebody fantastic I dunno, I might re-consider? But as it stands I just enjoy being single and yeah, no hurry to complicate my life neither.

Lols I saw Brandi here at Folk Fest last year. She made out with her wife in front of like 50000 ppl while we cheered. Dope live, pretty awful CD-wise

Count me in.

I'm 56 years old and never been married. Came within a few weeks of a wedding once and turned down other offers.

So why am I single? So many reasons. Do I regret it? Yes and no. Such a complicated topic.

Am I confusing you with the Black Widow of Jazzfanz? What did you do with Honz?

this thread is mostly ****ing ridiculous. It starts with its credulous and insincere ring leader. Amaze.
