My mom divorced my dad when I was 10, she has singlehandedly raised me and my younger brother ever since...
At this point she is so fed up with relationships, etc... asked if she can do it all over again what would she do, she said she would have stayed single forever and travel and enjoy life, etc. It's also the reason why she doesn't encourage me and my brother to get married or have kids... (which saddens my dad and other family members but she doesn't care).
So no, I don't think there's anything wrong with your decision whatsoever

I am happily married, but now that I've done that and I've had 6 kids, there's almost no chance I would ever marry again. I've been a giver (to my family) and have always put them first.
If ever ended up single I'd be a selfish ******* and do whatever I want when I want.
But that's at this point... as I wouldn't change a thing.. my kids are the greatest gifts imaginable.

It's not that for me. Like I discussed before, I wouldn't mind having kids. I just don't want to be in a relationship. The first couple of months are awesome, but after that, the dynamics that you settle into with your long-term partner just don't suit me.
But hey, if someone wants to hang out and/or **** every now and again, then give me a call. I'll even have a kid or two with you. But I don't want to see you every day, or even every week.
