It would be awesome if we could somehow tag a poster in a post. Like, for instance, if I want to make a joke about me dominating Ugli in poker, I could be like "That one time I dominated @UGLI baby in poker.". The system would recognize who I'm mentioning in the post and notify him that I just **** on him with a good diss.

I asked about this about 3-4 months back but there wasn't a way to do it at the time... I agree it's a good function to have. Sometimes I want someone to respond to something but he/she may not necessarily be perusing that particular thread - so this would be a great function.

I figured out a worka round. It's not perfect but it seems to do the trick mot of the time. The only caveat is that the person you want to **** on has to have posted in that thread.

What you do is you "like" one of their posts after you make your awesome post. That gives them anal ert that draws them back into the thread

I can't decide if I want to know what an "anal ert" is.
 
Technology the way it is today, it's hard to believe you can't be "tagged" and notified so that you can respond to that particular post/question/query, etc.
 
what if you added a button that would send a pm of your post to said person
I imagine buttons and dialogs are easier

Anything is better than the @ugli idea. Or even @ugli at all. I'll look into this one.
