Sloans letting his players wear rubberbands now?

Deron has a sponsorship with a company that makes rubber-bands infused (pssshhhh) with holistic b.s. to give you balance and make you less motion sick. That is why some players are wearing them.
 
Chris Morris wore one back in the '97 playoffs.
 
I never understood the problem with headbands. What's so bad about them? They keep sweat out of the eyes.

So does eye brows and eye lashes. Charlie Villanueva should be the only guy allowed to wear one. :D

In all honesty though, I think head bands are more for show/style than they are for sweat to the eye prevention.
 
On a side note, Spoelstra didn't let his players wear headbands... until Lebawl demanded it. Giving in for the queen. Shame.

I heard that on the radio and rolled my eyes. They're simply a placebo but the scams spring up constantly people always fall for it. The latest one is that lame iRenew bracelet... ironically, the first time I saw an ad for it was during a show on CNBC about product counterfeiting schemes.
 
It's a common misconception that Sloan has banned head bands. In fact, it's completely untrue. I remember seeing an interview with Sloan last year when he was asked about this. He said that it's a simple matter of what the team wants. He not going to have 4 guys wearing headbands and 8 who don't. He said he tells his players it's all or nothing. Get everybody on board wearing them, or don't wear them at all.

I think it was Deron who got the team to agree to wear black shoes for the first time in his first or second year, and if you noticed, the entire team was wearing them.

At some point, I think Jerry has to make an exception for Al Jefferson. If not, they're going to be stopping the game every 2 minutes to wipe the floor.

Did everyone wear wrist bands in the Stockton/Malone era, or did only Karl wear them?

Hahaha, so true. I was getting worried for the guy after his first press conference :D
 
...I have no problem whatsoever with headbands, wrist bands, bandaids, knee pads, elbow pads, contact lenses or hornrim glasses! But what's up with all these tattoo's?
