Except for, in this case, they *are* relevant to the meaning of the text. Recognizing that Alma 36 is a chiastic structure, for example, completely changed the way I view that chapter. ... Chiasmus is a structure seen in poetry from all languages. I have no doubt it's an important part of Alma 36.
