What's new

So there's a game in 10 minutes...

Root sports. They asked him about the last play. He talked for a bit and then said "you can't just ****in ... Its not just five on 0...

Well, 50% of the blame goes to Jingles. You HAVE to throw it in. Trey was in front of his man. Chances are he gets fouled. And that's probably why Jingles hesitated. Miami was going to give up 2 FT's, but NOT a 3-PT attempt. But the rest of the team just quit running and trying to get open.

Really, either of those tow buckets the Jazz got going to the hoop should have been drive and kicks. Much better chance of getting a good look on a 3 at that point, than a last- second inbounds play when Miami KNOWS Utah has to tale a 3 and will foul on the throw-in.

Gobert guarding the inbounds pass earlier was genius by Snyder. Rudy forced the travel by jumping into the passing lane with those long arms. I LOVE seeing Rudy play.

This kind of game is EXACTLY what we need: a close, winnable game (but we still lose) to keep us in the chase for a top-5 pick.

trey burke tonight. 3-12 .250

How did he shoot in the last 5 minutes? Everyone knows stats in the first 3 1/2 quarters are much less important - almost meaningless. I'd say weight them about a third as much as the final 5 minutes when champions are made! ;)

I know Ingles was just a waiver pick up, but I ****ing hate watching him play.

But he plays hard! Matt harpring! Fry sauce! Foul hard! Big joe!

Seriously though, I would like it much better if we only played ingles less than ten minutes per game. He seems like an awesome dude, but not a big minutes dude.

I would like it if he just stopped playing and somebody who could do something on the court would play. At this point I'd rather see that new D-League guy. At least he isn't afraid to shoot the ball.

Ingles is just there to pass up shots, play passable defense, and make swing passes.

Also, remember that time someone said Ingles was better at Hayward at making difficult shots? I refuted that point and got blasted for not respecting Euro-League players. My point stands. This dude can't make shots in the NBA.

Okay, so Gobert is playing great and nearly dominating on both ends of the floor. He picks up his second foul in the 2nd quarter on a bs call where he didn't even touch Bosh. Gobert gets pulled by Snyder, as if 2 fouls in the 2nd quarter constitutes foul trouble (it doesn't, btw). In comes Booker, then Novak. Five minutes later the Jazz are down by 14 points.

Gobert got good minutes in the 2nd half, but the Jazz were too far behind at that point.

Gobert finished with just those 2 fouls.

My point? This is what a slow tank looks like.

I understand pulling Gobert with 2 fouls. He can wrack up fouls pretty quick and with just a 3 man rotation you kind of need him to be able to stay on the floor. Bosh was starting to figure out how to play against him in that 2nd quarter.

Novak should never play another minute unless it's on offensive/defensive late game situations where we need a 3 pointer.

Novak is the 2014/15 version of JLIII - Tank Commander. Kind of want Garrett back. What's the rule on him since they traded him in the offseason?

Watching the replay....

Felt bad for Trey, air ball a 3pt.

Dwayne Wade is such a fool, he doesn't know that all those mid range 2 pt shots he made when the jazz left him open for are worth less less than a missed 3pt attempt.

I like Jeremy Evans more than the new Jazz do, but they liked Trey more than I did so I guess it is even, or not.

Enes just looks awkward, like a 9th grade boy, until he gets the ball on the block, then it's like super Enes comes out, and his feet start moving like Fred Astaire.

You know I don't think I could tell you what the jazz offense is supposed to do, well score obviously, but how to do it I'm not sure.
