Look dude, I'm very confident you will continue to post about how worthless Al is all summer. Even though I actually have answered your questions, and you're free to look, I'll repeat myself when it comes up again. This thread is about Williams and it should stay that way.
Just did look. At least were on the same page on his summer being very important. We're not going to see his season performance (especially the second half) the same way, which is fine.
If the dude comes back as soft and slow as ever, he shouldn't be part of the Jazz's longterm rebuild.
And, recall, I only started down this line because of all the ridiculous trades being proposed to dump Millsap for nothing, compounded with strange statements about how much more important/better Big Al is than Millsap. You don't seem to have a problem with all the folks looking to dump Millsap for garbage, strangely.
As for this thread, DWill would be a great pick for the Jazz, and if the Jazz go to a 2 guard front, and Al/Favors hold their own down low (on O, I'm talking), it would be awfully hard to defend lineups that include both Millsap and Williams moving around on the perimeter, at the short corners and in the high post. If neither can play the 3 well enough, you look to make a move.
So, I don't think the Jazz should be looking to do anything too drastic this offseason (unless some no-brainer falls in their lap), instead taking a wait-and-see approach, especially since so much could change for so many players over this particular offseason (Big Al's toughness/BBIQ, Millsap's ability to play the 3, Harris's integration, etc.).
