What's new

Sound familiar?

Gotta be Beasley who was "bad blood" right?

Difference between Love and Dwill is Love likes where the team is heading and happy with their decisions. Dwill was just mad about all decisions. Getting rid of all his friends, Dee and Ronnie.

The difference is Love is full of **** and plays for a team with no hope. He's good as gone.

This offseason appears to have been wasted. It's tricky when your main target is a restricted free agent and it takes until mid-July to finally lose out on him. But they did get Chase Budinger, so I guess you can't call it a total loss.

EDIT: Ok, I forgot about the Wolves getting Roy. It'll be interesting to see how effective he can be.

I just hope that Love doesn't try to force the Wolves to send him to a big-market team. **** the overrated big markets!

I was just wondering something similar. Do you think that KLove creates his own new "big 3" in a market that might not be seen as a big market? I just have to wonder how KLove would be next to DRose and Noah. Maybe he will go to Cleveland if Bynum goes there and those two can play with Irving.

The biggest need for KLove is a true center that can play defense and he gathers all the rebounds.

Ultimately, I won't be mad at or have anything against Love for not wanting to stay in Minnesota. But if he tries to force his way to LA or Brooklyn, I will not be pleased. Not that that matters to him of course.

I can see the future...

Kevin Love will go to the Lakers to replace an aging Pau Gasol in the starting lineup. Of Course, Gasol will stay with the Lakers and come off the bench... The Lakers front court would be Love/Howard starting and Gasol coming off the bench.

I hate the Lakers so much.

Brooklyn. Humphries, Brooks and a couple picks for him.

He can go to Memphis to replace Randolph, who is getting old. For fear of getting a warning, I won't make any of the obvious jokes that can be had by combining his last name with that of their man, Rudy.

Pretty much the mind set of nba players now days. I could care less about love and don't view him as a great player in the league anyways. So I would be all for some big market team to over pay him. My biggest fear right now is who favors is talking to with the usa team on who he is going to play for. Players don't feel like they can get what they want in a small market and see what everyone else is doing.

That purging was them getting rid of a lot of those guys they were giving second chances to. Either Minni will run itself more traditionally or Love will want to bounce.

After how much respect he received from the Jazz compared to the Nets, Favors would be a fool to ditch to us. With that being said, it would not hurt for Ty to give him starter minutes. NOW.

Minny and Jazz could give into every request rational or otherwise and these clowns will still leave. And as more 'stars' leave the small markets, the small markets will get less in return for each of their departing players.

The NBA is irreparably damaged, the Stern Model for success has killed the league. Only drastic measures starting with a new commissionaire can save it.

They had their shot with the lockout, but all the owners cared about was BRI. Lock the players out until they agree to a franchise tag. Eventually the players will need to play, or not make any money for years. However, every nba owner doesn't want a championship; just more money.

Nope. The model is progressing on schedule. The smaller market teams will be replaced by international ones. Get the NBA down to 20 teams in the US and 10 in Europe/Asia. That's Stern's dream.
