What's new

Sources: Utah has expressed interest in re-acquring Deron Williams

Sloan was run off by Deron's entitled attitude. He had had enough. DWill only found success with Sloan and Fisher guiding him. Great player, not a winner.

Revisionist history (like Cy saying Cousins pushed IT out of sac). DWill was great with the Nets until his injury. And Sloan was wrong to quit midseason, regardless of how furious about being disobeyed he was.

We could argue these minor details all day. We moved on from Deron for a number of reasons. I don't think he is the answer for the now but lets see what happens.

Not revisionist history, it was being rumored the moment it happened. Look it up.

With Lou Williams being dealt to a team Utah might be competing directly against in the playoffs, it will be interesting to see how Lindsay reacts. Then again, maybe Utah didn't have any interest in Sweet Lou considering that he was had for Brewer and Houston's 1st round pick

If the D-Will rumors are true then I think he could help us a lot for 18-20 minutes a night while Hill sits. It does mean we have to move on from Mack or some one else. It also seem to make Exum or Burks be on the bench all the time.

Injuries had more to do with DWills career going downhill than Sloan and definitely had little to nothing to do with Fisher.

I just wanna see Deron Big-Dick Williams hit a couple massive shots against the Dubs in the playoffs again

I have an autographed powder blue DWill jersey. Hasn't seen the light of day in quite some time!

I also have a powder blue signed DWill jersey. I can still remember him rolling his eyes at me when I didn't care what color marker he signed it with.

I get that basketball is all about Ws & stats, but I'm a romantic at heart--

and this opportunity for D-Will to come back & make everything right is just too perfect for my Hollywood-loving ***.

Sloan's decision to quit mid season is squarely on him, not D-Will. That being said, if you ask ANYONE in the Jazz organization at that time, D-Will was an absolute prick to basically everybody that had to deal with him and he evolved into an absolute diva by the time he exited Utah. Maybe he has matured, but I'd rather not find out.

Sounds like these rumors are not true and Jazz are not interested in DWill.

If they were true would it mean that they are not re-signing Hill? I would rather have Hill over Dwill. Unless the Jazz think Exum will be ready to start next year and DWill is a solid backup/mentor or at least someone that can push him. I doubt they are wanting to bring back Hill, DWill and still try to develop Exum which rumors are they seem pretty happy with. Unless they think one can play SG and are looking to trade Hood and/or Burks.

Yeah because they traded for Al freaking Jefferson.
