I originally thought this movie looked like crap. Now, it actually looks half decent.

Hopefully it has a lot more action than the other SM movies...

I thought they did Peter Parker right in the original trilogy (less in the third one then others). They didn't do Spider Man right though. The spiderman I know does smart alec comments whenever he fights a villan! They need to do that way more!
 
This new actor is way to emaciated to play Spiderman. Yeah, Parker was a geeky, smart *** but he at least had some biceps! They tried to hard to get the prototypical "Hollywood hunk" for the part. Maguire was a much better Spidey IMO.
 
I actually really liked Toby Maguire as peter parker. They got Peter Parker right in the original trilogy imo, just Spiderman wrong like I said.

Peter Parker was some awkward white kid nerd. He used spiderman as an avenue to break out of his normal everyday personality and crack jokes and be talkative. The trailer shows one scene where he messing with a robber when he in that car which gives me hope. Like the spiderman I know and cherish always acted like a smart alec and talked smack all the time to villains.
 
I like the path they're taking with this new one. Looks to be a little darker. I'm sure the part on the trailer where he falls on the taxi cab was the part of, "Oh no! My webbing is empty!" That's why he doesn't use any webbing when he beats up the cops.
 
On an unrelatd note I like how in the Avengers trailer Loki and Tony Stark are talking. Loki says "I have an army" to which Tony Stark replies "We have a Hulk". Awesome.

Hulk was always one of my favorites.
