What's new

start Hayward inplace of kirilenko

Send AK to NJ, Detroit gets the expiring contract of Troy Murphy/NJ pick and the Jazz get Prince from Pistons. Put Hayward in the starting lineup and move Bell to the bench.

yes Yes yes! haywrd deserves More minutes! AK is a weak russian Coward.

No, start CJ MIles. He was incredible last night in the loss. The only weakness CJ has is that he doesn't shoot enough. He can get the shot off with someone right in his face. Not may players can do that.

I can't believe I agree with something dutch says, but alas, it's true.

Something needs to happen, doesn't it. I went out to a bar last night with two Celtics fans from work to watch the game. I had been trash talking all week and obviously I ate some serious crow. Here's my starting lineup. Some people are going to hate this.

C-"Big" Al
PF- AK
SF- CJ
SG- Hayward
PG- Deron

This lineup might have more success running the break, and spreading the floor. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM our starting lineup sucks so much is because there is only 1 above average shooter on the floor, Deron. The Celtics packed the paint last night and look what happened.
Bringing Sap off the bench is priority #1. Come on guys, he's just better that way. He has looked like total garbage lately. Teams are figuring out how to guard him. Maybe he needs to shoot more 3s. Limit the minutes of PRICE, ELSON, and BELL. Play more Fes, Hayward, and Evans.

Screw all of these ideas. Wait till we see the Draft order. Trade all of our current roster for picks/junk and rebuild with jimmer. Thank you.

My disappointment in Kirilenko is well documented.

However, I'm not sure if moving AK to the 2nd unit and starting Hayward is the answer. Especially when you consider that Raja is still starting, CJ will still be chucking, Deron walks the ball up the court, and our frontline utterly refuses to rebound.

AS much as I'd like to place all the blame on AK, I can't. This team struggles to shoot, score, rebound, and fast break. They're quite honestly the most offensive inept Jazz team that I can remember in a long time.

How about occasionally starting Fes when the other other team has 2 bigs? Move Jefferson to the 4, and let Milsap go back to his role as first big man off the bench. I know this screws with sloans written in stone rotation that was set in November, and against his belief that the jazz should never adjust their plan based on match-ups. But it gives Jefferson a chance to play against a smaller defender and keeps Jefferson and Mislap out of fould trouble. 5 minutes at the start of each half ought to be enough.

try it tonight sloan so your 6-5 pf isn't gaurding the 6-10 Brand.

why not banned yet?

Start Hayward! AK is better playing in a more uptempo style & Watson like to push the ball up, so...

Starters: DWill/Raja/Hayward/Millsap/Al
6th Man: DWill/Raja/CJ/Millsap/Al
2nd Sub(s): DWill/CJ/AK/Millsap/Memo or DWill/CJ/AK/Al/Memo
Energy: Watson/Price/CJ/AK/Memo
Closing Games: DWill/CJ(Raja)/AK/Millsap/Al

what i posted in a different thread.

Well looks like this thread wins. Hayward with the start over AK tonight. Right now. About the same result as normal. But I have been pretty happy with Haywards hustle and good passing

Hayward obviously isn't ready to play big minutes. Jerry should not have played him in the second half. He could've given Evans some minutes instead. In fact, Evans has never come even close to disappointing the team as much as Hayward who has been consistently bad, with a few bright moments. Evan has had mostly bright moments in the few opportunities he's gotten.
