I hope he stays, but this whole thing is a bit much for a player like Hayward. He's a good player, but he's a one time all star (who barely made the all star team, and arguably, Rudy should have been there instead). I'd love to have him, but we shouldn't have to to beg him. The part that's super annoying is the Celtics and their arrogant, entitled fans.

Boston would shed the necessary salary to get him and in order for the Jazz to cooperate, we need something back. Otherwise, it's 4 years and Hayward gets less. That's the chip. It's not much, but if it ends up being a trade for Gordon Hayward, then Boston has to give something up to make the trade 'equal' or it gets rejected by the league.
