Jackson called a timeout right after his team had a huge dunk and then forced a turnover. It literally made no sense except to slow the Warriors' momentum.

Looks like it has its origin in boxing. I don't know enough about boxing to know what tanks have to do with anything. Probably not referring to the military variety, though.

OK, I'm not sure if anyone cares, but I think I figured it out. It's related to "take a dive", which referred to diving on the ground in order to lose the boxing match. I suspect that it got humorously cross referenced to diving into water, and so when you "take a dive" you "go in the tank [of water]".

Basically he was served up sort of a softball, and answered it with spin away from the topic. I dont know what was said before the game.

I just thought it was interesting that she actually brought it up.
