Stupid Pet Peeves

French people. In particular, how they don't ever sit at the tables in the breakroom but stand around in front of the water fountain, microwaves, sink, paper towel dispenser, seemingly oblivious to the fact that other people want to have access to those things.

Been hanging out with Rudy? He knows how to box out so you will never gain access to that water, microwave, sink, etc.

People who stand too close when they are talking to you. Look buddy, I don't want to feel the air from your mouth on my face when we talk.

You have to treat it like rebounding and swing your elbows a bit. Don't go all Malone on them though because that could land you in jail. Just brush them off the plate, so to speak.

Holy ****, this.

Erry day all day. ****ers really piss me off

What our country has become from what it used to be. I read yesterday that a dad got thrown in jail and went to trail because he took away his 12-year-old's phone that had inappropriate text messages on it.

Politics. I hate the idea of bipartisanship... err... team Edward or team Jacob mentality. Especially, when the most uneducated people on them have the strongest opinions about them.

Sounds like some Facebook BS. I'm sure there is more to the story.

So yeah, more to the story.

Dad was not arrested for taking the girls phone away.

Dad was arrested because the person who owned the phone, his ex wife and the girl's mother, called police to report the theft. When police asked for the phone and he refused to turn it over so that it could be returned to the owner (his ex wife) he was arrested.

Yep, America is still pretty great.

Pet peeve, when a poster you like leves Jazzfanz for a long time, then when they come back they are suddenly a giant tool in every post they make.

Love ya Archie, but holy crap. Did you join a religious extremist militia or something recently?

I'm sorry you feel that way, Gameface. Obviously, there was more to the story than what I posted in a few sentences, but it still doesn't change the narrative that police were called on the father and he was arrested for discipling his daughter.
I'm neither religious or have a political agenda to support. If I'm a tool because you disagree with my stance on abortion, or because I've posted in the 150 terrorist thread, or shared the opinion that Islam is a violent religion (not members) then so be it. You have different opinions than I do and express them. I don't find you a tool for doing so.

From the account I read, he wasn't arrested for disciplining his daughter. That is, was wasn't arrested for taking the phone away. He was arrested for not returning the phone to the girl's mom when she (the mom) asked for it back. Big difference.

No it's not. I see this **** every day. I guarantee the bitch of a daughter whined to mom that she wanted it mom, mom couldn't take her tantrum, and thus demanded it back the dad acted like a responsible dad would act, and mom called the cops.

At least that's how I see it without having it read it. (-;

And when the woman reports her stolen property to police they don't have the option to tell her to **** off. It's her property and when the police ask for it the dad needs to give it to them. If he would have thought ahead he could have smashed it, then given it back. At that point it's not criminal.
