Stupid Pet Peeves

What people piss you off?

Also, trust me, I get it. My wife calls me a grump because I'm highly critical of essentially every aspect of life.
The people who don't put their shopping carts in the cart return. They just leave them in random places the parking lot, often taking up a parking spot.

If I'm within about 60 feet, I put it back. If not, I place it right in the middle of four spots...like in that corner...so that all four cars should be able to park just fine.

Now the cart kid has to get that cart out of there.

Except for when there is not and now I have a scratch in my car because you were too lazy to push an empty cart.

Except there should be in one direction or the other. And I'm not too lazy. I just don't want my milk and veggies sitting in my 100 degree car.

So I'll confess. Like CL said, if there isn't a cart return area within a reasonable distance I'll try to put my cart somewhere that it won't be in the way.

I'm a hypocrite.

Haha. See. I'm always thoughtful though. I don't just leave it in the middle of a space or something.

I'm an old, fat, sick woman who always returns carts and can't understand why younger, abler people do not.

My pet peeve: people who try to shame others to do the right thing.

People that don't put the shopping cart back in the return area... especially when it is 10 feet away. Lazy jackasses!!

Regarding baseball, I played from the time I was 5 all through high school and loved every minute of it. Watching it on TV, I have a hard time. Just seems to drag. That said, I absolutely love going to baseball games. I was able to watch a game in the old Astrodome in Houston when I was 22 or so and it is one of the highlights of my life.
Yeah, going to games is fun. I'm not a baseball fan but I've enjoyed games at lots of major league stadiums and I always enjoy myself. My favorite is Wrigley. I always try to catch a Bees game or two each summer as well. I love the stadium.

I make into a fun game. Get running pretty fast in the direction of the cart return thing and launch it.... I'm pretty accurate.

Neighbors weeds.

**** yes, this. 60% of the homes on my street (mine included) ******* for Tru Green. And I never get a weed. But the other 40%, man. Those dandelions grow to a good 8 inches each week before the lawn is mowed. And that baffles me. If you're spending $1,000+ on your lawn being cut for a year, spend another $350 for weed control.
