Stupid Pet Peeves

People who have cell phone conversations with it on speaker as they wander around the store. I don’t even want to deal with them in my way, it’s only worse when I have to hear both sides of the conversation.
I dont get why people find this annoying. Do you find two people talking within your earshot annoying?

People who drop horrible smelling deuces in public restrooms and don’t give courtesy flushes. In the last couple days I’ve walked into this a couple times. I go in to take a leak and end up gagging because some dude’s in the stall dropping the worst smell imaginable, times ten.

It wasn't me, honest.

This time.

Usually in my experience people on the phone like this tend to raise their voice more than people in a normal conversation would, or even using the phone normally (same goes for people talking through earbuds or wireless ear pieces). I also see more people who are talking on the phone like this not paying attention to their surroundings because they are already doing 2 things that require attention, and so they tend to be inconsiderate about others. Of course it isn't everyone that ever does this, but really it is just the ones that show complete disdain for anyone around them since they are caught up in their own little world. Happens enough to be annoying, but even that one guy in the airport wandering around yelling into his phone/earbud, cutting people off who are trying to get somewhere, is annoying enough.

Most people who loud talk on their phone in public are self-important douche bags. They're all like "look at me everyone, I have important business to take care of! Listen to me! I need attention and affirmation of my importance! I'm going to stand over your shoulder and loud talk right at you but when you turn around to find out what's going on I'm going to completely ignore you!"

Duh people who w/ earphones on are louder. They have earphones on that distort their ability to hear themselves. I've never noticed people talking louder on speakerphone than they do normally.

And I talk on speakerphone in public sometimes. You can do **** on your phone while taking to someone. It's multitasking.

Studies have shown that people are not good at multitasking, and interestingly they also found that people who claim to be good at multitasking are generally worse at it than average.

I'm not solving the healthcare system, I'm ****ing around on the internet.

Yeah "multi-tasking" is basically a myth. My saying is "multi-tasking: screwing up several things at once".

Gender reveal parties. When and why did that become a thing?

Adults inviting their adult friends to their kid's birthday party. Why the **** would a single childless man go to his friend's house to celebrate a 3 year old girl's birthday?

People who don't seem to realize they're starved for community... and who complain about people doing community-building things.

haha, thanks man.

But seriously, men going to their male friends kid's birthday parties? That's weird.

People who don't follow leash laws especially when they're pushing a baby in a stroller and have a four year old in tow - plus a playful puppy and they're walking past the end of my driveway as I'm trying to back out and the puppy keeps scampering around near the end of my driveway and the mom just thinks it's so cute... and when I finally lightly tap my horn and call out the window that I'm trying to back out she just glares at me
