Yeah, our new contract is complete garbage. I was so hopeful, unemployment at all time lows, company gained 18% on their stock in 2017, tax breaks that don't directly affect this company, but creates a more competitive environment for employees, we constantly have several open positions. All that and we get a contract that's no better than the contract they got during the recession. SMFH. How we didn't send them back to the table to get a reasonable deal I can't understand. That just happened at my work as well.

Just recorded a 13 second video on my iPhone and I can’t figure out how to upload it here.
maybe if you "share" it to facebook or youtube first and then post the link as a video link...
Then vs than.
People often use then when they mean than. Then is always related to time. I did this, and then I did that. Than relates to preference. I would rather have this than that. If you say I would rather have this then that, you are saying you want both. You want first one, and then the other.
Bugs me.
I was going to mention "if ... then" which relates to what you said."Then" also relates to causality and the notion of superset/subset. A then B can mean that A causes B, of that for A to occur, B must also occur/have occurred.
Point taken, however I think you are mistaking correlation with causality. Because A precedes B does not indicate that A causes B, merely that the occurrence of A is associated with the occurrence of B."Then" also relates to causality and the notion of superset/subset. Because for decades union rights have been diminished while a pro-business sentiment has swept both major parties.
True. I want thinking about the conditional use. So, clearly I should not have used "always". Probably triggered someone else's pet peeve.I was going to mention "if ... then" which relates to what you said.

Talking to people who never make eye contact or who make laser beam eye contact. Had a job interview today with one of each of these. The one who never made eye contact watched my teeth or throat the whole time. The other one nearly made me jump every time I glanced at her, she was like staring through my skull. Weird.
Not particularly. Ok I guess. Came across as creepy doe.Was she hot doe?
