Stupid Pet Peeves

It’s about the only thing she gets away with. One step at a time man.

Plus spanking apparently isn’t ok in public, so I can’t do that.
Regardless of being ok or not, it's not really any more effective than several other things that you could do. That said, it's also not the worst thing you can do and it does have an effect.

Holy **** dude, try saying no to the kid every once in a while. And then stick to it. If they throw a fit, go sit in the car with them. It took my kid one time of that happening to stop the scream fest.

agree with both of these - it's partly a matter of picking your battles!

but I gotta say, I am SO GLAD those ridiculously oversized carts weren't around when my kids were little - - just the basic standard grocery cart.

Grocery carts the size (and style) of Mack Trucks pushed by a soccer mom who's dumped her five kids in the front "seat", all of whom are loudly arguing over who gets to "control" the steering wheel, while said mom is attempting to push the behemoth cart one-handed while she converses on her phone with the dog groomer trying to decide which dandruff treatment is best for Fufi.

DO NOT attempt to do any sort of grocery shopping today folks. It'll raise your BP to dangerous levels. I did not realize THIS is the holiday weekend!

Haha.. I thought only men are bothered by kids screaming, in malls, supermarkets, public places, etc. Would have thought woman would be more understanding and forgiving of those types of situations?!?!

Why would you think this? In one post you managed to stereotype men and women while simultaneously limiting them emotionally.

Kind of impressive.

I dunno, maybe it's just me but I can't stand screaming kids. Probably just me then not all men.

Wait, what? How did I not know you make yogurt for a living? What specifically do you do in that industry?

I basically pasteurize and homogenize milk, add cultures, and then cook he milk until the proper ph and viscosity is met and then transfer it via a cooler to a storage tank for it to be packaged.

The difference between regular plain yogurt and Greek plain yogurt is water/whey content. That's it. What gets added later is what determines sugar content really.

The cream also gets removed from Greek yogurt along with the whey. At least at our facility anyways. Non Greek has the cream.

Edit: actually we did just start making a Greek yogurt with the cream that has a 3% fat content that is my favorite yogurt we make now. We don’t make very much of it though and we just started making it a few weeks ago.
It’s called oikos traditional.

Tell them to step it up! I love the chobani Greek yogurt with the 4% fat!

This stupid low fat and no fat craze has to stop.

it wasn't the kids really, at all - it was the mom, trying to push this HUGE cart with one hand while talking on her cell phone and oblivious to her kids in the front of the cart

except that there's a comma missing, what he meant was:

good, people leaving jazzfanz
