Stupid Pet Peeves

1st world problem:

I HATE sushi places that put a tiny piece of fish on a football of rice. I get it, you want to offer all you can eat but you can't figure out how everyone else does it and still make money. Maybe if your quality was better and you weren't paying all of your relatives huge amounts to be "wait-staff" who also suck (nary a refill to be found). Also sushi places that refuse to fill your entire order when it is ayce. We didn't order a huge amount, 3 rolls, a dozen pieces of nigiri, appetizers, for 4 of us, and they leave off an entire roll, half the nigiri and only bring 2 of the appetizers. No idea how places like that stay open. We went once, never going back, my wife will yelp/google the **** out of the place. I wanted to punch the manager in the throat. As it was I complained loudly to the manager/owner's brother or whatever and he just stood there. They did knock off one of the meals, but at $28.50 a pop I expect better.

News articles on the internet that don't include the date they were authored anywhere on the page.
Case in point--I was trying to figure out why the air in Utah County (maybe also SLC?) was being so smoky. Probably from some fires somewhere, so I did a search to find out more details. A Google search found this info pretty quickly https://www.good4utah.com/good4utah/western-wildfires-bringing-smoke-to-utah/163166567... but I can't tell if that's at all relevant because there's no date. That type of thing happens to me way too often.

When I go to my supplier and order 18 of something only to get to the job and there are only 16 of them. Now I have to make a special trip back to install the last two.

I cannot stand people that start into saying something, make it sound like it is some big deal, then don't finish their

Stupid *** Hillary Clinton...

Hillary Clinton steps up her involvement in the midterms

https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/30/politics/clinton-increases-her-midterm-involvement/index.html

Washington (CNN)Hillary Clinton is getting more involved in the 2018 midterms.

Clinton, through her political organization Onward Together, donated the maximum of $5,000 to 19 Democratic House candidates and four secretary of state candidates in June, according to the group's filings with the Federal Election Commission. The donations represent the most concentrated midterm effort the former Democratic presidential nominee has made to date and further thrust Clinton into an election that will be the most potent judgment on Trump since he defeated her two years earlier.
Eleven of the House candidates who received donations from Clinton are vying to flip districts represented by Republicans in Congress that she won in 2016.
Representatives from Clinton's team and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee worked together to target which candidates Clinton should back to stay in line with the party's 2018 strategy, officials with both groups tell CNN.
While the former Democratic nominee has publicly endorsed Democrats on the ballot in November, she has yet to publicly hit the campaign trail and has largely kept her distance from 2018 campaign politics. One reason is strategic: Republicans are eager to tie Democratic candidates, especially those running in districts that lean Republican, to national figures like Clinton, a fact people close to the former secretary of state is well aware of.

Hillary, just go. You're ****ing toxic. You'll be the rallying cry the Trump supporters need to get motivated for the midterms. Just GTFO.

Really? She's so toxic that she can't be allowed to donate money to campaigns, but the Koch brothers are not toxic? She's only toxic because many on the right treat her so, and if she went away, they would bring out another target to vilify just a vehemently, and make that person equally toxic.

My wife has become a Cardinals fan, so I now have baseball on the TV every night.

Reminds me a bit of another pet peeve - folks who have to constantly check scores on their phones or what-not. We sometimes go with friends to a restaurant that requests phones be put away while at the table, and the guy was always getting up to use the restroom just to check the baseball score on his phone. (we haven't been to that place with them in a while...)

HA! I’m extremely guilty of this. No shame.

If I think this mistake has become detrimental to society as a whole, is it still a pet peeve?

Anyway, using sex and gender interchangeably.

Gender:
M/F

THAT'S WRONG!!!!

When I go to squeeze some ketchup from the bottle onto my plate and it comes out all runny and watery.
I mean I know it’s an easy fix (just shake it first) but I forget sometimes and it comes out all nasty
