Stupid Pet Peeves

#1 all time is people who don't use the passing lane for passing. The other day I was passing some cars in the left lane and came up behind some dude going 60. After about 5 minutes of trying not to tail him too hard, he got over, let me pass, and got right back in the left lane going 60. Holy ****.

1up. People who don't use turning lanes. ****!!!
This is the reason I know better than carrying a handgun.

I had to get my AC repaired a few years ago. The guy was in my back yard working and the neighbors deck looked right down on him. I thought it was just their annoying dog barking at him but when I looked I saw somewhat to my horror that the neighbors 3yo son was standing next to the dog and both of them, the kid and the dog, were starring straight at the repair guy and barking. Not for a few seconds, several minutes. Eventually they got worn out and retreated trough the dog door, both of them.

You were horrified? Imagine how the kid's parents fealt when he started licking his own ***.

When someone has an HDTV but no HD feed. WHHHYYYY?!?!?!

I was in this situation for a couple of years. Let me explain: We had DirecTV for the Jazz games. We had a small SDTV. We wanted a bigger TV, which by default, pretty much meant getting an HDTV. This must have been 3 or 4 years ago. We didn't want to pay extra for HD service which at the time we would have had to do. Last year we switched to Dish Network and now get their free HD. But now, I don't know if there really are extra costs for having HD. So your gripe could be valid. I know some people don't like auto-paying bills, which is a requirement with Dish Network for free HD.

The only thing I really watch is sports. Can't do non HD sports. I've just had a couple awkward circumstances where someone invites me to there house to watch a game on their new HDTV, only to find out they don't have HD. I take my sports watching super cereal, if you couldn't tell.

Well once you've done HD you can't go back. I hadn't seen any sports in HD when we got our HDTV, so it worked out all right for those few years.
