Had our D-lineman been able to handle that gift-wrapped shovel pass from Sanchez, you'd be singing a different tune right.
Won't pretend like the loss doesn't sting, but Miami still tied for 1st place. Tie-Breakers don't come into effect until much later in the season (especially since these two still play again later down the road).
Miami's got New England, @GreenBay and Pittsburg coming up in the next 3. What a brutal stretch they've had to being the season. With that being said, I saw enough from this team to think they'll be in the race for the AFC East crown all season long.
Had the Phins won, I'd be cautioning my fellow Phin fans that it's only week 3. Maybe some of you Jest fans can use a little bit of that humility right about now. Just sayin.

Damn that stupid baseball field. Edwards would not have had that long TD. Don't even get me started on that ****. I remember Olindo Mare sucked at kicking in that dirt and I can't wait until the Marlins get the hell out of our stadium. No excuses, Jets broke the three game losing streak. Teams are evenly matched, expect another nail biter in New York.

Dude I'm a Phins fan and I'm with you on the grass thing, I was like why am I only seeing Phins slip and fall, happened on several times throughout the game Bell on the first TD, Allen on the third TD and the running backs slipped several times as well and I only remember one Jet slipping all night when trying to close out on a pass to Polite.
The Jets just made a few more plays and won the game, I know from my prospective after a night to calm down I'm still pissed at Allen and/or the D coord, he was getting picked on the 2nd half just like the Phins where picking on your rookie CB from Boise with Bess until they moved him to covering the middle TE slot area.

Good game. I reserved my comments in the other thread for those with direct fanship of the Dolphins and Jets, but man, Sloanfeld sure turned me into a Jets fan last night.
