The first quarter he fouled Fes twice in a row and Fess had a nice post up against him. Fess effectively took him out of the game by way of foul trouble. He was a load for Rudy to handle in the low post when he got it. After that it was all France though.

Still wish France would reward Rudy and actually him the ball in the post when he calls for it. Rudy almost exclusively gets the ball cutting to the rim or off of offensive rebounds and you can see players hesitate to throw the ball to Rudy when he post up on the block.

I think Rudy's kryptonite will always be a tall bulky center with low post moves.
Would that describe marc gasol?

Nevermind. Just saw that this has already been discussed

I think Cy is greatly exaggerating Fes's performance. I didn't see the first part of the game when Rudy picked up the fouls but after he returned to the game, Fes was no match for Rudy. I did see a good spin move by Fes for a dunk but that was when Rudy was on the bench. In the second half, Fes made a nice half hook around Rudy, but that was the only time I saw Fes actually score on Rudy, and Rudy was continually outquicking Fes all over the court, as well as jumping over him. So, I don't know what game Cy was watching -- sure didn't reflect what I saw, but as I said, I didn't see the first few minutes when Rudy picked up the two fouls.

Well what I posted was after watching Rudy pick up two fouls on Fess. That is what I posted. That Rudy was having trouble guarding and boxing him out, causing him to get 2 quick fouls.

Any final numbers?

If anyone wants to watch the Exum-less Boomers they play in 3 hours. A win puts them in the Olympics. No Jazz players involved but Turkey plays Lithuania tomorrow. Should be a competitive match.

A loss by 10 points or less puts us in the Olympics as well. I wouldn't bother watching, went to the first game which was boring as

That reminds me of a question I wanted to ask you guys - do you think it'd be good idea for Dante to have his return on court for Australia next year in Rio? Would Australia invite him? How should the Jazz feel about it if it happened?

Game is actually at 1:30MT tonight it looks like. Only if he is fully recovered. Paul George attended minicamp and wants to play in Rio so I do not see why Dante would not play if fully healthy.

That's the thing though... it will be right about 10-11 months after the surgery when he will have to report to camp. It's right at the time when usually players are allowed to return to competitive sport. I wonder if they are simply going to play it safe and keep him out of the Olympics or let him go if invited.
