Summer 2015: FIBA games of Utah Jazz players

France's roster:
Current NBA players: Gobert, Parker, Fournier, Batum, Lauvergne, Diaw
Former NBA players: De Colo, Gelabale

Did I miss any? I know Serbia played better in group play, but France's roster seems very strong.

Dont just judge a roster by how many NBA guys it has. Ask Canada.

Yes, but outside of Wiggins, and I guess Bennett, the Canadian NBA players are scrubs. Oops, sorry, I just offended the Stauskas fans.

Edit: I take that back (but just a little). They also have Joseph and Olynyk. So I guess a couple more fringe players.

Olynk was the the guy who gave Canada a chance. I think he is more than a fringe player. Lets remember that Wiggins is not really close to the player he should be. Canada's time will be probably more for 2019-2020 World Cup and Olympics.

Croatia looks like they have been consuming mass quantities of fine French wine. Tomic has been particularly bad.

Serbia know how to finish games. I think they will win the competition. France has good players with a system they are not settled in yet.

I predicted Serbia win before the tournament started. Someone on this board thought the Croatians were better. Whoops. I think we are better off that Tomic decided not to come over. He was horrible and made Vesely look like greatest player ever.

Tomic hype was too overpumped. I put Spain over France too.

Gobert stats?

20 minutes
7 pts (3/3)
3 reb
1 block
+/- : 22

Gobert is not used in France's basketball as he is being used in Utah. He shines in Utah's defense 1st system. And the game tempo and ball movement level in NBA, the sets, everything fits him well because he is above many centers in reach and athleticism.

I've noticed that. But it probably makes Gobert appreciate Snyder even more as a coach who recognizes his defensive greatness and at least gets him to handle the ball a bit on offense, even if it's only to come out and make that initial catch and pass off.

Satoransky with a great game. I think he comes over in 2 years for the Wizards.
Tomic scoreless: wow!

Who's the Gentile playing for Italy; does he have NBA potential? He's really taking it to Israel. Make up your own headline about that one!!!

Sorry, i forgot to add they had some tasty meatballs with it as well. My apologies.

Oh yeah one of my favorite menus. Add salsa, butter, dried oregano to the spaghetti's sauce and maybe cook it with a little bit of garlic (garlic works wonders when mixed with tomato) and serve red wine with'em. Nice 'n sweet.

The Old Spaghetti Factory in Trolley Square was my favorite restaurant growing up. Always would get spaghetti with a couple of different sauces and spumoni ice cream for dessert.
