In a few years Jazz will be the Canada of the south.

Did I say kansas was a humble school? When did Kansas become a "humble" basketball program to join?
Also unaware how being from Canada makes you like Utah more. I guess you are use to cold weather, but that is about the only thing.

How's Korkmaz look? NBAdarft.net thinks his player comparison is Gordon Hayward.
Turkey is gonna be no joke in these international competitions moving forward.
Why the comparison to Hayward? Is he a world-class gamer with a funny haircut? Those comparisons always bring a good laugh. WE don't need another Hayward. Who compares to Michael Jordan? Or even John Stockton - we need a starting PG?
He just needed more touches to show his Hayward-esque talent.
Keep in mind Korkmaz just turned 18. Any minutes with the first team of his country are good for him.
True. But let's see if he averages more than 3.5 pts/per during his Euro League games before we anoint him a future star in the NBA.
My only concern for a young prospect like Furkan Korkmaz who is playing out of his league is his fitness condition. Other than that, the Eurosport commentator summarized the deal pretty accurately: "I think we all know where this one's gonna end up in."
I think he will be better. He dunks a lot better. Heck even more than most NBA players. Maybe he won't pass Hayward in regards of point-forward mindset skills. But he is very promising. Needs to muscle-up.
Questionable. Our squad is weakened a lot. Let's see how this goes but as much as National pride and hype matters in international competitions for Turkish NT's, you never know.
Indeed they are. They are the best our latest class offers, but the q-mark is how many of them will make it to the final roster and even if they do, Türkish nt's have a history of not playing young talent much even if they deserve to or even the five on court blows. From what I've seen of Korkmaz, (somewhere around 10 full games) He seems like a SG prospect thru and thru. Very talented for sure, I doubt he ends up as flexible as Hayward has proven to be. He's does show combo guard skills and makes some excellent passes, I just don't see how he'd be physical enough to handle SF's, too skinny.
Emirican Kosut('95), Obken Ulubay('96), Egemen Guven(who im not too crazy about - '97), Korkmaz ('97), Omer Yurtseven('98), Onuralp Bitim('99) all look like interesting NBA prospects.

So an 18 year old who has probably never been on a weight program could not bulk up significantly?
