I'm not just saying this to rag on Kanter but I think Plumlee could pose problems for him. I smell 2-3 blocks of Miles on Enes.

I think Kanter is going to own Plumlee. Plumlee doesn't know how to play basketball either and will probably bite on his up and under.

I more interested in the rebounding battle between Plumlee and Kanter. There is going to be some rough play down low.

9.2 rebounds, 1.6 blocks, 1.6 assists, 0.8 steals and 11.1 points on 57.2% from the floor is pretty solid for a guy who doesn't know how to play basketball.

I like Plumlee. If the Pacers had decided not to match on Hibbert and we could have convinced them to take Big Al, Plumlee would have been a decent guy to get as part of the trade package.

Dude, Plumlee is super polished. There's not a lot he can't do. He can shoot, defend, and post. I think I'm the only one who thinks he could be a good starter in the league and maybe even more.

I'm glad someone started a game thread. I was going to do it soon if not for Captain Keefe stepping up to the plate.

Brandon Knight averaging 7.3 assists after three games...pretty damn good considering he's just 20 years old and wasn't a true point guard coming out...sort of wishing we had drafted him rather than Enes. Oh well.

I've thought Plumlee looks pretty good as well. Which begs the question why his stats at Duke were so underwhelming and why Indiana was so widely criticized for this pick. I didn't watch much Duke b-ball, so I don't have a good idea. Any insights?

Underwhelming? Did you see the stats I posted earlier? I'd say 9.2 rebounds, 1.6 blocks, 1.6 assists, 0.8 steals and 11.1 points on 57.2% from the floor is pretty solid, especially when you consider how few touches he probably got on the offensive end and the fact that he played 28 minutes a night. I'm not saying he's going to be a 22/12 stud but I think he could be a Roy Hibbert-ish, 15/11/2 guy.

We seem to be getting our stats from different places. Here's Plumlee's stats for 2011-2012 at Duke. I think that 6.6 points per game qualifies as underwhelming, although 7.1 rebounds per game is not too shabby.
