Basketball is back bitches!
Headed to Vegas summer league this weekend with my son. Gonna be lit!
So excited for Mitchell. Hoping he's the next Gobert-like impact player for the Jazz. Really want people to look back and think "Damn. That kid should have been a top 3 pick."In Locked On Jazz today there were 2 SL notes
1. It starts today at 7 PM.
2. Mitchell has looked "really, really good". (emphasis on "really" came across in podcast)
I will be down there next weekend with Mrs. Stoked. The 15th and 16th.

That's something I hadn't thought of. Would very much like to know what the cap situation is for teams heading into the summer of the banana boat and PG13. Think this year was nuts? Lebron, Carmelo, DWade, CP3, Russell Westbrook, Paul George, Isaiah Thomas and Demarcus Cousins will all be free agents next year. Maybe the Jazz can get a deal on one or all of those 3 guys.Given how little money is being thrown around this summer, the Jazz may feel confident in keeping Favors/Exum/Hood and possibly being able to get bargains on them.
Racism?

First game today features Fultz vs Boston.
If Fultz goes off, or Tatum looks sluggish Danny Ainge might just decide to stay in Utah permanently. Boston fans are already looking for his head for missing on Paul George and Jimmy Butler. Then when Hayward does the right thing...
Ya I said this a while back..... Boston is set up so good with so many assets that no matter what they do or don't do they will be very very good.Yeah, but Boston will be alright for the next 5+ years with all the high picks they have. Ainge made the right choice not to trade potential stars. He realized that Paul George was unlikely to stay, he was unlikely to get Hayward and Butler isnt getting them further by himself. The also can still pull the trigger and make something happen next year or whenever. GS is going to dominate for 4 years, many teams will dump their all-stars for high picks to look to the future.

Yep. I would love to be in their position other than the whole not having gobert thing. No other team in the NBA is going to be top seed in the playoffs and being competitive while developing a couple lottery picks with 4 more lottery picks coming up over the next couple years. Outside of of GS and maybe Cleveland I think almost every team wishes they were in their boat. Its nice to not have to tank and still get those high picks so they hope they strike gold and get the next super star.
Exum gonna be that guy too.
And before people point out certain flaws, Rondo couldn't hit a free throw or three pointer to save his life and was a hugely impactful player for the Celts.
If Exum can hit the three, which i think he will, he will then blow by guys so much more, and get easier baskets or fouled, as we saw he started to go to the line more last season. 0.6 per 36 as a rookie. 2.1 per 36 last season. I predict a 3.5 FT per 36 from him this season.
