I will be uploading quarter by quarter player highlights. Don't be expecting these done by the end of the night. I have a life. I hope to have all 20 quarters out in the next 3 weeks.

Utah @ Detroit - Quarter 1:

Enes Kanter
Alec Burks
DeMarre Carroll
Blake Ahearn

Next up, Murphy.

I will link all the videos together with a playlist once they are uploaded so you can watch them from one link consecutively.

If you guys are interested in a specific player, let me know below and I will try to get his out sooner.

Kanter's post up game is legit he just needs to sell the fake better and stop going up with two hands on the majority of his layups. Was surprised he got such good position on the 280 lb Drummond, Kanter's strength is freakish.

Agree; he's hung up with plowing into his defender thinking the guy will foul him. In the NBA, that won't work all that much, as everybody in the paint is TALLER than Kanter...

That first offensive foul on Burks looked a bit iffy to me. I thought that was a good drive by him and the foul should've been called on the defender.

Thanks a lot for making these, nice to see these guys in action. BTW try doing your words in a color other than white, it's really hard to see, I didn't even notice it until I watched the 2nd video.

Kanter looked pretty good. His movement was more crisp and had a purpose. His spin to the baseline was surprisingly quick. The problem is that he's taking on double and triple teams right under the basket. That won't work. He needs to find a cutter or wing with a pass. Nice movement on help D and nice blocks.

Drummond was a guy who had college games where he blocked 7 - 10 shots. He's definitely going to get a few blocks. I like the way Kanter was able to operate around Drummond's big body. He's coming along.

The great thing is, despite being blocked on the 2nd play, he got position down low and bullied Drummond without fouling him.
The 2nd postup and the 3rd postup are things you can look up in film and learn how to pass (He seriously needs this badly.....badly)

Those 2 postups are definitely not as concerning as they sounded. His spin move is quick....on his up and under, I feel like he's making up his mind to do the up and under before he sells it to the defense. This is kind of a problem, but it's growing pains...understandable.

I still have hope, I just want him to start passing to cutters now.

How is letting Andre Drummond shoot a step back 15 foot jumper bad D? The guy shoots 30% from the FT line.

First it was a 10 foot J. :)

Drummond completely controlled the play and Kanter did nothing to disrupt him in any way. Exchange Drummond with Dirk or Amare and its bad D.

Carroll and Ahearn up

You guard different players differently. I will let Drummond take that shot all day.

Drummond was taking a step back and playing for the block. Kanter needs a quick baby hook or a fadeaway when guys play off of him.

Kwame Kanter needs to go hard off those bumps instead of wasting them with that stupid up and under move. Too bad he's even less explosive than Kwame Brown. 26" vertical is about as bad as Jarron Collins. Hopefully he'll develop a deadly outside jump shot so he can merge into that Collins role only with a little better rebounding.

I suggest that you focus on Burks, Kanter and Murphy. If you have extra time or desire I would just include Stockton or Deron Washington. I don't see any reason for you to focus on Ahearn.

Need to get that dunk by Mjeri. It was one of the best game dunks I've seen in a while because he did it in traffic and with ferocity -- they even replayed it during the timeout of the game.
