I said this with Cam….but you will know if the issues were real if he fell. The opposite is true with Cason. OKC moving up to get him makes me feel that there was no issue at all. On paper he had very few of any weaknesses and some of the more mundane things about him (his pull-up shooting for example) were seen as the biggest pros for other PG prospects.

It is funny how you can talk yourself out of players. At the beginning of the college year I loved him and was thinking he was a Jrue clone. Then I gradually kind of talked myself out of him for pretty much no reason.

Huh? I don't get it.

Literally the whole basketball world, from the talking heads to the lifers and casuals, is saying that Wemby looked really underwhelming. "Not the debut we were hoping for". Hell, ****ing ESPN is saying it. LOL.

But when I say it.... it has to be a "bit".

Lazy.

I feel like a lot of people did this with Cason in particular. His biggest crime was probably being a little boring. A lot of people slowly dropped him as the draft got closer….and for what reason? He clearly wasn’t actually dropping if OKC felt the need to trade up to 10 to get him.

Given how….lukewarm the Jazz FO has been on Hendricks, I really think they should have moved up in the draft to get their guy. I really came around on Black by draft time.
 
Going to get an up close look at Bilal right now. If you’re watching the game I’m about 8 rows behind the Wizards bench on an aisle seat with a bright yellow Lauri jersey on.
 
Bilal looks like a really small 6-6 he’s gonna have to develop a more consistent jump shot if he’s gonna play so small
