According to that information (I think it was Locke) Murphy WILL be released, but he hasn't been yet.

His contract is completely unguaranteed right now, becomes $75K guaranteed if not waived by August 1 and $200K guaranteed if not waived by November 1. Right now they need bodies for summer league so they will keep him around at least that long.

Thanks. That makes sense. Give him a chance to impress another team, likely one overseas. We can get another player (SF) on a non-guaranteed deal, then release him at the end of December when Marvin comes back.

Well the roster needs a few more big men. It seems a little disappointing that the Jazz didn't go after any players that weren't draft this year. Solomon Hill got drafted by Indy I think, so I would be surprised if they let him play for the Jazz.

I still think that it is sad a tradition started by the Jazz in Utah has moved to Vegas for glitter and glitz and to Miami for show. ********.

Hmm, I think it is sad that they give these poor kids a million bucks and the first place they take them is to Vegas. Way to start them off right. Introduce them to gambling and bookies and let them get their hooks in the players.

Because there is NO WAY that a player would ever fix a game right. Thats like saying a ref would try to fix them......
