Summer plans?

Day job, teach summer classes at night.

I'm taking a weekend off for Geekway to the West (but might not go after all), another for DieCon, another for my wedding anniversary, and a full week in August. That's much more than I usually do.

I had to Google those.... you're quite serious about your board games, huh? Do you take your kids to those conventions or is that kind of your personal getaway?

I take my kids to the shorter meetings I go to a couple of times a month, but only my second-oldest would have the patience to (non-video) game all day, and he's into CCGs nowadays.

Most of the syllabus is standardized. You'll find it similar to any local community college. This summer, it's Trigonometry and Liberal Arts Math.

Is Liberal Arts math that new math where the answers are never wrong because we are just experiencing the world, and maybe my idea of math is different from yours and that's ok?
 
Sounds like some fun summer plans. In about three weeks, I start my annual three months of 80 hour work weeks and sunburns in Jackson hole. Looking like a good summer for rafting, lots of water and lots of bookings already. I will have a life again just before Labor Day, the. The wife and kid and I are looking forward to a Northern California trip to see family, San Francisco and Yosemite.
