Each of the people targeted in these attacks have been the subject of conspiracy theory mongering by Donald Trump. In just the last week he has blamed Soros for funding the caravan of migrants he has alleged is harboring dangerous people from the middle east, praised a man who assaulted a member of the press, and of course led his ever popular rally chant to lock Hillary Clinton up.

This isn't rocket surgery guys.

Damn. Eric Holder and Maxine Waters were also sent bombs. I will be surprised if by days end we don't hear that Mueller and Comey were as well.

Very strong words indeed. Imagine if they had done something really heinous, like knelt during the anthem at a NFL game or were born in Canada! Oh the horror!

While there is still a lot of investigating left to do, how is this not the intended response from all of the hate speech at Trump's rallies, twitter feed, and Fox News? Maybe it's time to not refer to journalists as, "the enemy of the people?" Maybe it's time to not chant, "Lock her up?" I dunno, but I'm guessing that calling Maxine Waters, "Low IQ" probably doesn't exactly encourage calm and rational debate, right?

Holder, Waters, Kamala Harris, and George Soros apparently have received similar packages. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that they've been primary recipients of Trump's hate.

Edit: Apparently former CIA Director Brennan received one too.

Ruth better watch out. I hope she has strong security. Republicans would love nothing more than to add yet another SC justice onto the bench. Scary stuff.

There's a lot of investigation ahead for sure. But one cannot help assuming this is one/some of Trump's followers. After all, he has routinely advocated for violence against his enemies and has targeted in rallies and tweets every single one of those who received a package. Just last week he did a rally with a Senator from Montana who assaulted a member of the media. He bragged about how he was, "his type of guy."

You cannot advocate for violence and then pretend that this wasn't the intended result. What exactly were republicans expecting?

-Hillary: Dems "cannot be civil" towards Republicans
-Eric Holder: "When they go low, we kick them"
-Cory Booker: "get up in the face" of Congress
-Maxine Waters: Harass Trump officials
-Rand Paul attacked at home
-Republicans shot at
-Republicans forced out of restaurants
-Antifa blocking streets and assaulting people

Turn off Fox News and actually read/listen to the entire quotes you're citing. Until then, you're on my ignore list.
 
Just tuned into Hannity right now. He's interviewing the Project Veritas guy. The same group that came up with the ACORN crap, PP nonsense, and paid a woman to try and lie to the Wash Post about being raped by Roy Moore. Very reputable organization... They're bashing Democrats in Red States, calling them liars.

He just said that he was going to "Lay Out" the media tonight on his show.

But but but, both sides are equally uncivil...

I can only take about 5 minutes of the vitriol.
