So how many crimes pigs like that need to commit before society is protected from them? This dude was obviously mentally unstable, was sending hate letters to Australian army families, practiced black magic, was suspect for his own wife's murder and was on bail for 47!!!! sex assaults. And yet he was free on the streets. Makes me sick that two innocent people died because of such a piece of ****...

seriously, very sad that lives were lost - - haven't heard too much about how it all went down other than that folks that had escaped said the situation had been deteriorating and becoming increasingly unstable - - seems as though the hostages were killed/injured before the police stormed in, not as a result of of that action
