Tell me what Don wants, what he really really wants

If Don says publicly that he wants to be traded to NY does it change anything?

Reading the posts of NY fans is driving me nuts. Over and over I’m reading things about how Don should demand a trade so Ainge is forced to make a trade.

I honestly don’t think Don demanding a trade impacts anything.
  • He’s under contract for a long time.
  • Recent history shows us disgruntled players retain value.
  • I believe we’ve mostly accepted that losing is ok for awhile.
  • Don can’t carry the team by himself, and even if he did his value would increase.
  • We’ve dealt with drama for 3 years now. What’s one more year?
But, I’m a homer and would like to know what the majority of Jazz fans think.

Or, more specifically, tired of having to defend Utah, the franchise with the current rep as the most racist fanbase in the league.
What we need are some white LDS dudes from Utah Valley to explain to Mitchell that all the things they do that seem racist actually aren't racist...

Don wouldn’t demand a trade. He’s too much of a ***** and a phony to do that. He’d rather smile through his teeth and play like he’s a good pro, the good pr bitch he’s been raised to be.

… or judgy bitter pricks to point at people and stereotype them.
Bravo. Well said.

I recall a gender course I took where I spoke up. A girl that disagreed with my perspective said "You only say that because your white, middle class, mormon, and male". I said back to her...

"You don't know one of those 4 statements to be true. Don't stereotype."

Needless to say... stereotypes cut in all directions. Keep them in your pants please.

is Utah actually any more or less racist than anywhere else ??
There are racists everywhere… but Utah is absolutely a conservative state, which many people would call many conservative principles racist. Are they? Every person can decide for themselves. For the purposes of this discussion, I believe we can agree that Don has had more than one instance where he felt said principles were racist.
