I've never had a problem with Foye, BTW. I don't think very many did. I wish him luck.

In a vacuum, I completely agree. I will not go into my rant about playing a part in seriously helping GS.

Agree. And the Jazz will likely draft a wing with their first rounder. Still, if Burks can play backup PG, he COULD get enough PT to stay happy, backing up both positions.
 
Everything is coming to our terms this season. Is Ty or Sloan a poster here? We should shut up if this doesn't work out, shouldn't we? Not that I don't feel really excited about the outcome.

You are right. It's that old phrase: be careful what you wish for. Only two more things remaining: 1) Mo signing elsewhere; 2) Ty either absorbing Sloan's knowledge through osmosis, or Lindsey replacing him at the end of the season.
 
I liked Foye, seemed like a good guy. Made some good shots, I really just dislike how Ty used him. Way too many minutes. He's a perfect rotation guy. Give him 10-15 minutes, set up some plays to get him some open 3's and he'll contribute nicely. Not a starter though

We robbed them of depth and a future for... Andre Iguodala. A 29-year-old Andre Iguodala. Turned cap space into cap space + draft picks in order to give GS... Andre Iguodala. Aging swingman Andre Iguodala. Barely an all-star Andre Iguodala.

The Jazz will place higher in the conference this year than the Warriors.

I wouldn't go that far. I don't see the W's improving enough to crack the top-5. They'll again be in that 6-8 range. However, with no Howard and MWP, the Lakers won't be as strong. Can two other teams overtake the W's and drop them out of the playoffs (Portland and New Orleans?). Would probably take injuries to Curry and Bogut...but entirely feasible since both are coming off bad ankle injuries.
 
I'm going to echo what many have already said: thanks, Randy, you tried hard and played as well as you could, and it isn't your fault that your coach kept putting you in a position to fail.
