Sorry firegrill, but father time is undefeated. Conley isnt going to magically turn back the clock. I already explained this before we foolishly traded for him. The descent has already begun.

Its well documented that most players suffer severe decline in their 30's. People like Malone and Lebron are anomalies.

Mike Conely wasnt even that good before.

Would love that. And frankly I think we've hit on the winning combo. Conley off the bench is absolutely huge. The matchups quin can put together with that move are staggering. If he's finally settling in and they keep him coming off the bench we will be truly lethal. The pacers are a good team, even if on the 2nd night of a B2B. To so thoroughly dismantle them... With 21 ****ing turnovers at that... Was just awesome.

Agreed. It's a small sample size, but he's looking more relaxed and in the flow of the offense. Hope it's a sign of things to come.
 
Conley will continue to play due primarily to the sunk cost fallacy.
