Of course. The rich and powerful will still be able to get abortions no problem.
This was mostly just another way to hurt the poors. Which of course will end up hurting us all in the long run with more poverty, crime, health care costs, higher taxes to pay for more needed paid social programs etc.

You get me wrong. I'm condemning society. It was our society that stood around and let women kill their children. In some circles women who killed their children were even celebrated for having the courage to kill their children. Humans are a weird animal and mostly I'm happy to look forward.

Until the religious right can get their child grooming and rape problem under control, I’ll hold out on giving a single **** about their stance on “protecting the lives of children”.

I do understand why they’re so passionate about pedophilia, it’s a legit problem in their communities. I would be terrified too.

The best part is the Trevor Noah segment on this. Rudy escalates the "injury" with every re-telling. It was first enough to startle him, then it pushed him and another person forward a few feet, you know dangerous for an old man to fall down. Then it was like a boulder hitting him. Then it was just like he had been shot! What a ****ing joke.

Join us on the (actual) left brother. Repubs are outright demons but I think you'd agree that the Democrats, as a whole, are very disappointing. They're mostly corporatists and struggle to do anything substantive for the advancement of the people they're supposed to be serving. We'll continue to vote for them simply because they know we can't let the Republicans win and they're not actively dismantling our freedoms and trying to destroy democracy. Hint: If they throw Donald Trump and other criminals like Matt Gaetz in jail, and/or outright defeat the republican party, that would destroy the very thing that gets them votes without having to actually do much against the wishes of their corporate overlords.
