The biggest collective whiff in JFC history:

Our estimations of this team’s depth.

Honorable mention: all the leadership this team I supposed to have.
This is the glaring weakness of the team. Our talent from 6-15 is practically nonexistent and the skills they do have don't complement one another.

If our starters were in the elite tier we could cobble it together and be fine, unfortunately they are a step or two below that level.

Oh and Brantley to take niang minutes

It's been a disappointing season... but in defense of every moron in this board... Joe has been seriously trash compared to where he has been in the past, Ed Davis has been a monumental disappointment imo (can't catch the ball, isn't offensive rebounding like we thought, tries hard on defense but is small), Conley has been hurt. So I thought we were strong through 7 and most of the year we've been strong through 5. It was reasonable to think Dante wouldn't be dead all year, Jeff Green can and has given us good games like 25-30% of the time (which is okay for a bench guy), Niang is the biggest disappointment to me. He might still be playable but not in the lineup configurations we've seen. He's basically playing SF... that aint it.

It was a reasonable thought which is why its a big whiff... I thought there was a chance one of the kiddies would play so well they'd end up in the rotation. My biggest disappointment with Quin thus far has been his refusal to try something different with the rotations.

I would like Tony Bradley to take Ed Davis minutes

This. TB has deserved the backup spot on merit.

In regards to the team depth, I was always very hesitant about our depth from the begining, knowing who Green, Mudiay and Ed were as players. The problem is that the Conley contract has hamstrung our cap, and we had to get these guys.

Well I didn't expect trash *** Niang to get so much playing time, Joe to struggle like he did off the bench, Davis to get hurt, Dante to be out of the rotation almost completely, Green to be so Jekyll and Hyde, etc.

I still believe there's a good bench in there somewhere. Or at least the foundation of one. I think a backup SF/PF who could take all of Niangs minutes and some of Greens and more complete backup PG could change everything.

Does anybody remember when Niang was the Brantley of JFC 2 years ago. I haven't followed a drop of who Brantley is, just found the exitement and yearning to be similar.
