First is chemistry with Jingles and Dante. He averaged 17.5 ppg and 7.1 rebounds in the Australian league putting him fifth in the league in both categories. He shot 51.2% from the filed and 46.9% from 3. Could be a backup big next year.
 
Yes. I've always thought the Jazz had strong interest in Motum but he was better off playing full-time than being stuck on the bench. Tomic coming over may change things . I do expect Utah to invite him to camp.
 
He would have been on this roster if he played in the D-League instead of the Australian league this season.

He will be on this team if the Jazz don't pick up Tomic IMO. 40% chance he's on the team even if they do pick him up. I honestly never saw him play a poor game during summer league & pre-season last year.

I know this has a Best BUy Carlos Boozer ring to it but I was talking to a guy in the ticket sales of the Idaho Stampede and asked why they were so bad. He made it sound like the Jazz and the Stamps were counting on Motum and Dee Bost being in Idaho and after being cut by the Jazz they took overseas offers.

If the Jazz are looking for a stretch 4 look at his 3 point shooting percentage 46.9%.
 
I would be more interested if this thread were about bringing back Brad Rock which would mean that he had been cut by the newspaper in which case I could neg this thread into oblivion.

But I like Brock.

Then get Patty Mills
Then Andrew Bogut off the bench
Then Paul Hogan/Yahoo Serious as the new Athletic Trainer
Then whoever else is left from AUS.

Then name our daughters Adelaide and Sydney, our sons Mick

Then get rooty with our women who all have flat tops and massive arms

Then shoot Kangaroos from our front porches.

This dude has an 8'6 standing reach as a PF. He isn't a NBA player.

Talking about shoring up our weak spots. Motum is tough. He can shoot. We need a stretch-4. He can fill that role. Certainly an upgrade over Jerrett.

The dude shot 30% from 3 in the Italian League.... (13-14 season). Even if he has gotten a lot better at shooting 3's, he isn't anything we need at all. Not even worth discussing.
 
An upgrade over Jerrett is a blind stretch. Jerret has way better measurements and has shown to be a better shooter.

Locke was saying that he Jazz probably would have kept motum if Evans contract was not guaranteed. He said it was pretty much between Evans and motum for the fifth big spot.
