He's apparently going to play all 5 positions for Milwaukee this year. You can play him in the backcourt.

I mean, you would probably play him in the front-court to back up Favors and play some 3. He would be an awful fit in our back-court since we are already terrible shooters.

Like I said though, I'd still take him. He just wouldn't start on this team IMO because of fit.

I bet Franklin will still insist Burke is better than Schroeder. :)

This is one game people. Don't overreact.
He'll step it up so at least zombies won't be able to drive on him, and that broadside of the barn is on notice.

One game.

Burke was pretty horrific today. Let's see if he can pull it together and at the very least be a serviceable player.

Horrific? He couldn't do much playing with Burks. Not seeing the criticism of Alec chucking. He took all of 2 shots in 15 mins. One should have been called a foul. People here are so funny. I understand this thread was unnecessary, but that doesn't mean you have to be ridiculous with the comments.

You're only looking at the offensive end. He made Steve Blake look like a speed demon. He couldn't stay in front of anyone all night.

He defended the pnr ok. He was shading heavy to one side forcing Blake into help. It wasn't like Neto was doing great defensely before the leg injury and certainly not after.

I have been wondering what the hell this is? I notice TB intentionally move out of the way, and open the lane then watch Blake run right past him... I don't understand the point of this. If you have zero quickness and whatever you are attempting to do hasn't worked the entire time you have been in the game... Friggin try something different! Is it so he doesn't get picked or what? It's like the invisible man was picking him all night. Turrible! He needs to at least make an effort to get back in front of his man, and be ready to do so.

Where does TB play next year, China or Europe? When Exum comes back, there is no room for him. That said, he will play better than last night. He better or he might need to start working on a foreign language sooner than next year.

The thinest-possible silver lining:

Dalamon's jazzfanz cred/ego is hitched to Burke. At least I can enjoy that.

trey will play well against sixers. he always plays well against bad teams. hopefully... D:

Trey Burke sucks, Trey Burke sucks. His name being mentioned next to Jesus is a travesty to the highest degree.

Not sure if Trey just choose to defend that way or if it was the gameplan against Steve Blake because I recall either Neto or Burke guarding Jackson that way. Burke didn't defend that way at all in preseason so I'm not sure where it came from but it was totally unnecessary against Blake.

The staff in their wisdom cut Cotton.

The Black Jose ... not Jesus, the Black Jose Jiminez, jess, that is my name. Most of you guys probably aren't old enough to remember the Bill Dana character, Jose Jiminez. It was one of my favorite comedies when I was a kid. He was a bellhop in a hotel and had this very thick Hispanic accent -- he used to greet people by saying, "My name, ees Jose Jiminez." Anyway, the black Jesus is really getting crucified now, like his namesake. Anyone think he'll rise from the dead?
