Pick and roll with Favors looked good. Hope that becomes a regular staple of the offense moving forward.

I think it was eye opening for the coaching staff last night. It comes down to Burke's shooting man. He's been hitting his shots, so it just completely opens up his p&r game. He becomes a starter if this consistency continues tbh. If not here, then elsewhere.

I don't watch much ball, but I still have a hard time placing Burks for this team and am having trust issues with him. But he seems to be playing very well, it's just hard to trust for me.

I hope he continues.

Yeah, clearly this coaching staff never saw TB play before the last game. WTH? Here's the problem with what you are saying: TB has been here 3 years now and yes, that was eye opening last game. Why? Because it has happened so rarely in the last 3 years.

Is he Burke improved? Yes. Can he play like he did the other night? Jury is out on that one.

And is TB the only passer in the league who does not get an assist if the other guy misses the shot? Just wondering.

I disagree. He's vital off the bench.

Neto and Burke stats for the last 5 games:

Burke: 8.8 ppg, 40% FG, 35% 3s, 3.2 APG, 1.6 RPG, 1.6 TOPG 22.6 MPG

Neto: 6.2 PPG, 41.4% FG, 50% 3s, 2.6 APG, 1.8 RPG, 1.4 SPG in 17.8 MPG

Neto is shooting better but Burke is far more capable of going off.

While Burke has been far more consistent this season the last 5 games have not been consistent. He laid an egg in 1 and scored over 19 in another.

Why are you holding on to a player 1st two years as a pro so tightly? This is the time you expect players to have bumps in the road figuring out the league and their respective place in it. People have been saying for a long time a PG's 3rd year is where you usually see a significant improvement. Burke has played great in spurts the biggest thing for him was consistency and defense. Both have improved significantly and there's no reason to think it couldn't improve even more.

Yeah, because he had back spasms in the Clippers game so he didn't play in the 2nd half.

The Warriors game he was just not playable because of the Warriors guard size in the 2nd unit with Livingston, so he didnt do well.

I am NOT. You yourself said that the last single GAME was eye opening. One game does not mean much. That was the best passing/PG play that I have personally seen from TB. Hopefully he can keep it up but that is what we need to see and the jury is still out. YOU are overemphasizing one good game.

One game? I've been championing Burke's distributing and over all improvement all season. I have been the one saying he need to play with the starters because the unit he was playing with was failing to either take and/or make shots.

Last night TB was too selfish. Burks went off in the second quarter and when he finally got in during the 3rd qtr, Trey didn't pass him the ball.
