Maybe a younger core around him will make him feel more comfortable. I'm assuming him and Agbaji know each other.I’m not a big believer in Doke but per my inside source… Doke had one friend on the team… Rudy. He did feel a like an outsider… having a familiar face will actually be something really good for him.
I don’t think he gets his option picked up and I don’t think he ends up being much more than a third center type. I do hope he can stay healthy enough to give himself a shot.
He can barely reboundIf he somehow stayed healthy and started I can see him being a 10 PPG 12 RPG guy.
He more than held his own against the MVP of the League last season. He can barely rebound
ThisHe’s unplayable the way he shoots FT’s
If anything, he's one of those extra roster spots that we need to cut right now. Dude isn't physically fit to be a NBA player, let's be real
Unbelievable how bad of a draft pick that was. This
We hired trader Dan too late he never would’ve drafted DokHe more than held his own against the MVP of the League last season.
I was hoping that a prior relationship would have helped him last year (with him and Forrest from AAU circuit, I believe). But apparently it didn't.Maybe a younger core around him will make him feel more comfortable. I'm assuming him and Agbaji know each other.
2021 draft too. Ainge would've gotten Herb Jones instead of third string backup to Trent ForrestWe hired trader Dan too late he never would’ve drafted Dok
The concept of starting center in the modern NBA is overrated. GSW just won it with Kevon Looney as their starting center. A washed 33 yr old Brook Lopez won it with Bucks the year before. The bar isn't that high. The real question is how good is Kessler going to be? I'm not sure if our starting center of the future is currently on the roster, though.
C’mon guys! Remember a guy named Quin Snyder? He did nothing to instill confidence in this kid shipping him off to G Leage Siberia, signing Whiteside to take his minutes. Up until Snyder had to sit out for a spell and Doke had some real nice productive minutes under Alex Jensen.I was hoping that a prior relationship would have helped him last year (with him and Forrest from AAU circuit, I believe). But apparently it didn't.
Yes. A complete scenery change would help. Maybe he should try Volleyball.I’m worried that with so much negativity about the pick from fans and in the media that he’ll need a change of scenery to be successful. Could be wrong, but I think he has to blow up and stay healthy to stay around. Wouldn’t be surprised to see both him and Butler gone next year.
Wow, I never knew who you are. You're the person that decides who are the real True Jazz fans.Look, NO TRUE JAZZ FAN should be cheering for us to win this year. Winning would set back the rebuild by multiple years.
We should hope to see individual improvement, players stand out, an identity to be formed, and BEST CASE SCENARIO, lose 60 games by 1 - 5 points ending in last place in the league.
We should NOT be hoping for wins. Friggin chooches.
Brook still has the best hook shot in the league. The concept of starting center in the modern NBA is overrated. GSW just won it with Kevon Looney as their starting center. A washed 33 yr old Brook Lopez won it with Bucks the year before. The bar isn't that high.
