The Debates

In my day I'd have embarrassed your ***. But I'm avoiding drinking for personal reasons.

I like Quiznos and Wendy's better.

Dumbass

Haha right on, I like your confidence..... and how would you have embarrassed my ***?
If you refer to drinking, I'm just getting over about a 5 year hangover myself.
I understand the avoidance of drinking, as it almost destroyed my life at one point. Although I still drink my 4 or 5 beers a night, coupled with a multitude of vitamins to recover.

I was once a fan of Quiznos, but I also weighed 260 pounds at that point.

- Biden keeps going to the "crippling sanctions" well regarding Iran, the problem is everyone in America knows Iran doesn't give a flying crap about said sanctions. Doesn't fly.

- Biden must not have been told there is a split camera, dude's only reaction is a laugh. Looks cheesy, if nothing else.

- Not going to lie, a little underwhelmed with this debate in general right now. Ryan a little dull. Don't buy a thing Biden says. As of this post, this debate is falling below my self imposed "I'm going to turn it to Sunny at 10PM threshold"

They actually seem to be getting pretty effective, pretty quickly. Problem is, China and other enemies<strike--non-allies< seem to not give a damn about sanctions. Just another reason for a candidate of either party to run as an anti-Chinese free trade candidate. Romney doesn't have to lose an edge that we shouldn't really be crediting any president for anyway.

This thing would get over sooner if Biden would shut up when its not his turn. Cheap trick interrupting your opponent.

I think the general Joe feels more comfortable with Biden after this debate.... not that I think this debate sways a whole, but I think this is an Obama win.

I've seen ten minutes now and Biden sounds angry. Is Obama trying to throw this thing? Serious question.

#2, too bad Ryan didn't get the opportunity to crush Biden on his ignorant notion that proud Iraqi's--or any other people--don't want to handle their own security instead of having a foreign police force do it. To say otherwise the way Biden did is just outlandish.

I agree with your 2nd point, but not the first. Biden is acting a fool, but I believe the average American will view him as knowing better and having more knowledge/confidence.
Ryan's youth also hurts a little, imo, when such troubled times are afoot.

(I am pro RR, just trying to suggest what the media will tell Americans they just watched.)

If what I'm reading from the GOP sympathizers is true, it sounds like Biden is just being Romney last week.

Somewhat fair, but I call it like it I see it .. and I think Biden was far worse than Romney in this regard. I feel I've earned the right to say that based on my saying I think Biden won this thing.

From what I've seen on FB, anyone who likes Obama/Biden says they won the debates and the other side is being annoying/rude/dumb and vice versa for people who like Romney/Ryan.

You're right. After watching further, Joe Biden did exactly what my conservative, Catholic New Yorker friend said he would--hand the kid his *** on a platter.

I found it funny toward the end when Ryan was saying how we need leaders who will present solutions to the problems. I think any honest Republican will agree that the RR campaign is a little vague on the details of their economic solutions.

I disagree.

I think they very much care about crippling sanctions. Perhaps some of their leadership doesn't. But I think a lot of their leadership along with much of their populace care.
