The Divine Directive to Go All-In

Sitting in Vegas now. Thought this thread was telling me to liquidate my 401k.

$100 to win $1400 could nicely bump me to retirement if we were “all in”

put some coin down today at 12-1, largest bet I ever made but that’s a low bar...you know just a few weeks ago they were 35-1!?...kicking myself for not jumping on that...

COUNT ME 100% IN ON GOING FOR IT.

Even still, given cap restrictions and management's unwillingness to trade away guys, I do not expect we would trade a top 10 player right now. So that leaves picking up players off of a waiver.

We put a high value on character, fit, and system. It would take a unique player even off the waiver list to fit what we need methinks.

Then again, Anthony Davis is a unique player that we would love to have a few extra tools to throw at him.

Isn't last night evidence we need a big body guy to match up with a turd like Simmons? Same for Lebron. That's our glaring weakness. O'Neale is good but undersized.

So I am having a religious experience with this Jazz team. I haven't felt so stirred by the Jazz since I was in middle school. I've started smoking weed and listening to lots of 311 again.

I have bought into the notion that the Utah Jazz can -- with greater probability than ever before -- win the NBA Championship.

I've been on this message board for 16 years. We've talked so much about wishing the Jazz were this good. And that time has finally come. Now is the time. This is our window.

So if we really want to win a chip, and we have a new owner who may realize this and opts to go all-in, then Utah has to be strategic to plan ahead for playoff matches (e.g., LAL, LAC, Denver). What are the moves that must be made?

Who do we need to add to the team? Who is available? What are our assets? When would these moves be made?

I'm an idiot not a captologist. What's within our range? I saw something about wanting to pick up Mo Bamba for PF back up, and a-Trevor Ariza type dude to body up on Lebron.

Don't mess with the magic here.

We ain't needin' nuthin but the stand and deliver.
