The End of INCEPTION *spoilers*

How do you guys interpret it? Was he in the real world? Was it a dream world within his own head? Or was his wife correct and he has been locked in a dream this entire time?

I believe he was awake, in the other dreams his kids would not look at him. Also the top started to wobble. It never wobbled in the other scenes. But I think the movie is about our perceptions of reality. So there is probably no defined answer and everyone is supposed to come up with their own conclusions.

I agree with Beantown because it was starting to wobble and it didn't even come close to wobbling in the other scenes. He was awake.

I agree that it was supposed to be left up to the viewer to determine the ending. Great story and enjoyed it! Best movie in a few years.

What a damn good movie. I'm totally expecting a sequel. But yeah i'm pretty sure he was in the real world.

I don't know if I'd like a sequel, the movie was so perfect and the ending was amazing and should just be left to that...and I don't think Nolan would make a sequel to it, but who knows.

I hope after Nolan finishes the final Batman, he makes a more indie film like Insomina or Memento...the Batmans, Prestige, and now Inception have all been great but I also want to see some more low-end stuff from him

Doubtful. I think he and his brother are finishing up the third Batman and then they're delving into a supposedly original, kick-*** idea for a new Superman. And no, I'm not joking. From the article I read months ago, I almost wonder if the two will overlap.

Who the hell cares about reputation these days? Ask Carlos Boozer, its about the Benjamins.

ya, but the guy has set the bar too high, he'll be a dissapointment no matter what if he makes an Inception II. It would almost be like making Schindler's List 2.

I'm a little late on this but just saw the movie tonight. I thought it was incredible, totally original. I agree that the ending was supposed to be up to the viewer to choose if he was dreaming or not, but I like to think he was in reality because the top did wobble and it never did before and because he did see his kids faces, although it was left open enough for people to decide for themselves. Great movie, best one in years.

A good friend of mine pointed out this is the first big blockbuster in a long time that was totally original, not based on a book, or comic book or remake.
