What's new

The evidence continues to grow, allmost to rapidly

Count me as someone who was not and got torched for it.

I was right there with you and I got some slack for thinking the Jazz were dumb for moving up. When Detroit passed on him, I was even less excited about him. Hometown kid and need of a PG and they passed on him. I think Burke trying harder on defense has affected his offense but if you can't hit open shots then there is no way you should be starting.

What's even more sad is he's trying harder on defense and it is still bad.

So what happens when we trade Burke, for most likely nothing of value, and Exum has a game like he did in Dallas? 19 minutes, 2 points, 1-4 FG, 0 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 2 turnovers, -15 +/- Trey has never and would never have as statistically bad of a game as that, probably because he has had more experience.

Trey allows us to use Dante off the bench in which he has thrived.

I think it would be dumb to trade trey. We aren't going to get anything for him and its too early to give up on him. I thought last night would be his break out game being back home and it obviously wasn't. I hope that embarrassing game in front of his friends and family doesn't set him back even more.

I am not advocating trading Burke, but you are partly right Trey would never take only 4 shots. I don't care who starts but whoever is playing well should stay in the game, which against detroit it was Exum. Trey needs to get it together and I hope he does. The Jazz are better if both Exum and Trey play well. The Jazz wouldn't get anything of real value with Trey considering his performance this year. Maybe putting Trey on the bench will light a fire or allow him to play against lesser opponents and this might lead to him getting some confidence. Right now I don't think Trey believes the shots are going to go in.

his shot is just not falling AT ALL.....

really have no clue what is going on with burke and I really like burke.

Not at all. Im guessing it's just a really bad slump because his mechanics look good to me.
