somewhat disagree with this view, to the extent that as soon as the photos were put online, they were shared - and those posing for the photos WERE choosing to display themselves.
They weren't shared online. They were backed up online. Big difference. As log pointed out it is plausible and even likely that these women didn't even realize that their pictures had been uploaded.
I'm sure you choose to expose yourself to your spouse and it would be wrong for someone to "hack" your blinds. This is no different than being a peeping tom. Just because the window in this instance happens to be electronic doesn't make it ok.
I haven't looked at these pictures and I won't. It's gross.
