Anyone seen this yet? I'm seeing a 97% fresh on RottenTomatoes. Peter Travers of Rolling Stone even suggests that it could win the Oscar for Best Picture.

I have to admit that I enjoyed the ride.

I really liked it. I haven't finished the book yet, so it was exciting to watch without knowing how it would end. I have to say, I was pretty shocked with that twist. I even shouted out..."SAY WHAT?!" in the middle of the movie. Jk...but I was close.

also how could a movie attached to a teaser be any good.

heard they attached this movie to the dark knigth teaser. so you go for the teaser and get this crap movie for free

I'm so excited you couldn't get a pin up my *** with a jackhammer!! I am so excited my nipples could cut glass!!

Never seen any of the movies or read any of the books. Pretty sure I'm the only one of my friends...they all think I'm nuts.

So this is the first movie I've ever been to a midnight opening for.

the movie is not that great in my opinion... but it was a very emotional night for a lot of people i know. A lot of my friends are like 24 and to them this is an end of era.

Lots of people were sniffling and even sobbing in the theater.

tried to watch the previous one, got bored out of my mind

mabye if i was like 10 i would be into it

did you enjoy the teaser for dark knight?

I've gotta be the only person in the world who thinks that the entire Harry Potter series is crappy, boring literature. The books are really lame (Terry Brooks has been writing better fantasy than Rowling for 25+ years and nobody cares for some reason) but the movies are far worse. I've been bored out of my mind in every movie so far, except for when it almost showed Hermione's boobs.

Harry Potter Review

I'm not a Super Fan of the series. Come to think of it I'm not a Super Fan of any series.. I have read the books, but watched Part One about a week before I saw Part 2. On Rotten Tomatoes, I have never given a film a 10. I gave Part Two a 9 out of 10 on the Tomatometer. I thought it was a big time win. The plot is dead on from the book. The action pays off big time. The cinematography is superb. The acting was great, and the use of humor made the audience laugh, and the sad parts made grown men sit at the edge of their seats. I saw tears in eyes, then audience cheers. I don't usually do this, but I watched it on Friday night, then in IMAX 3D on Saturday morning. Both times, by myself. I will be watching the Academy Awards this year, hoping this wins Film of the Year. The only other Film I've seen this year that would rival Harry Potter 7 Part 2 would be Water for Elephants, which is a completely different arguement. If you're teetering between seeing it in the theater or watching it on DVD, I would strongly recommend seeing it in the theater.

You're a manly man aren't ya.....

I like the Potter series and have watched them all and read the books. To me this was by far the best done movie. I was really disappointed in movies 4-6 and thought they could have been much better done. I think in this case the movie was fantastic and I was not dissappointed in the slightest.
